Insiders know that Rainer suffered severe medicine poisoning approximately 12 years ago which almost cost him his life. Orthodox medicine made every effort to help, yet without success. As is often the case in such difficult situations in life, people withdraw to their innermost selves and start to mobilise themselves. From that time on, Rainer looked for the cure. All previously unknown themes suddenly became current. The meaning of life, the point of suffering!

The World Wheelchair Curling Championships 2005 (WWCC) took place in Braehead, Glasgow, Scotland from the 17th to 22nd January.

Review and end of Rainer’s racing season 2004
2004 was once again a fantastic year and a successful racing season for the British Sports Car Cup.
Race weekend in Dijon-Prenois/France, September 4th and 5th 2004
Rainer suffered a tendonitis of the elbow, which rendered him immobile for eight weeks.
5th British Sportscar Cup in Interlaken / Switzerland
The fifth British Sports Car Cup Race took place on the Military Airport grounds in Interlaken this year. Interlaken itself is a famous Swiss holiday resort, situated quite centrally and surrounded by the beautiful Swiss Alps.
Rainer’s first mountain slalom race!
This race was held in Reitnau, a small, sleepy village built on the slopes and surrounded by a breathtaking chain of mountains in the middle of Switzerland.

Rainer Küschall’s new racing acquisition
As known to many, Rainer Küschall has a number of hobbies. When he is not creating new wheelchair designs, he takes part in car races and is an active member of the British Sports Car Club in Switzerland. Rainer drives an Cobra and just recently made 2nd place in Hockenheim/Germany, although he was competing against able bodied participants.
