Wheelchair dancing

One year ago, Invacare Spain started to promote Wheelchair Dancing a collaboration with the Schoole of Dance Victor Buenavida in Girona (www.buenavida.eu).

Recently Invacare Spain was took part in the Spanish Reha Exhibition, Ortotec 2009. As a special attraction for the fair visitors the wheelchair dance couple Juan Antonio Canadell Culom and Carmen Morrondo Mateu, impressed the audience with an incredible dance demonstration. Their dance, style and elegance was a huge success at the fair.

The wheelchair Juan Antonio uses as a dancechair is one of the küschall® wheelchairs launched in 2009, The KSL. The KSL is a completely rigid and extremely light küschall® wheelchair, weighing less than 7kg. This wheelchair is both dynamic and active; it is the perfect tool for everyday use as well as a wheelchair sport such as dancing.
