Rainer in Bahrain for the “Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix”

to watch Bahrain’s first official Formula One race. Rainer and Frank have been good friends for many years, and mutual respect for achievement and admiration strongly connect both men.

Rainer took the opportunity to meet up with his long-time friend Mr. Adel Sultan, who is an important public figure in the Bahraini world of disability.  Mr. Sultan is chairman of the Bahrain Paraplegic Society, and a board member of the Bahrain Disabled Sports Federation (BDSF) and Bahrain Mobility International (BMI). Rainer also met with BDSF officials and discussed ways of improving special athletes' activities. He hopes to see racing sports develop more in Bahrain, regardless of whether the participants are disabled or able-bodied.

Rainer still competes regularly in the British Sports Car Cup and loves driving his AC Cobra. But it is with his newest racing acquisition, a customized Radical SR3, which he plans to push the limits even further.

Stay tuned for more updates on Rainer’s future plans. In the meantime, here are a few links for the racing fans among you.
